HGU established and is currently managing the ‘Regional Center of Entrepreneurship in South America’ in order for GET programs to be consistently maintained and vitalized. The first center was established in Nairobi, Kenya in 2010, the second center in Accra, Ghana in 2013 and the third center was established in San Pablo Catholic University in Arequipa, Peru.
President Soon-Heung Chang said “It is really meaningful to open a center here, where San Pablo Catholic University has started. Like San Pablo Catholic University which had a small beginning but achieved dramatic growth in 21 years, I expect this entrepreneurship starting at this very place to bloom until it prospers Peru and South America”.
President of San Pablo Catholic University, Germán Chávez Contreras said “It is thankful that our University started with 58 students in 1997, but has grown to have 7500 students and 500 professors in 21 years. I believe that through the ‘Regional Center of Entrepreneurship in South America’, the leaders of the next generation will grow up to take a crucial role in developing Peru and South America”.
