- Human Studies : Introduction to Philosophy, Reading, Discussion and Writing, Studies in Korean Language & Culture, Introduction to Korean Literature, Understanding Comparative Literature, Sino-Korean and Traditional Culture
- History : Studies of Korean History, Studies of Oriental History, Western History (Ancient History), History of the East-West Cultural Relations.
- Social Studies : Introduction to Sociology, Introduction to Studies in Education, Anthropology, Law and Civil Society, Contemporary Society and Woman
2) 3 credits from Natural Science or Mathematics
- Mathematics : Elementary Calculus, Elementary Calculus B, Calculus, Calculus E, Differential Equations and Applications, Visual Mathematics, Statistics
Students who¡¯ve graduated high school from abroad :
1) A student who never learned Calculus at high school MUST take
    ¡°Elementary Calculus¡± and the upper level courses.
2) A student who has studied Calculus for one semester at high school
    MUST take ¡°Elementary Calculus B¡± and the upper level courses.
3) A student who has studied Calculus for one year at high school
    MUST take ¡°Calculus¡± or ¡°Calculus E¡± and the upper level courses.

** Please note :
¨ç Students who¡¯ve already taken upper level courses CANNOT take
    lower level courses. Ex. A student cannot take Elementary Calculus     or Elementary Calculus B after taking Calculus or Calculus E.
¨è Students MUST take a course among the same level courses.
