Curriculum and Instruction

The Pedagogy and Curriculum Major aid the professional development of pedagogy and curriculum in various fields of education and established educational administration systems. Based on the Christian worldview and creation science, Christian education principles of curriculum design and pedagogy, curriculum development and reorganization methods are taught. This is further defined for practical application for the individual’s selected area of specialization (i.e.: social studies, the sciences, language, or general.). Through each seminar subject, educational methods, new theories and trends, case studies in the curriculum are introduced and learners are encouraged to seek applications to their respective fields. The curriculum includes field case studies of education specialists to encourage field application of education ideas.
