01 Nomination by Home Institutions
Deadline: May 1 (For Fall semester) / November 15 (For Spring semester)
Students should be nominated by their home institutions.
Exchange coordinator responsible for nominations should submit the nomination to the contact person below; in order of

02 Online Application Submission
Deadline: May 15 (For Fall semester) / November 30 (For Spring semester)
- - After nomination by the home institution, student will receive the guideline from HGU via email.
- - Online application has two parts.
- a) Personal information
- b) Uploading mandatory documents
- - Transcripts of academic records (from freshmen)
- - A copy of passport
- - Recommendation letter (HGU form)
- - Handong Honor Pledge (HGU form)
- - A photo
03 Application Screening and Acceptance Letter
Period: During June (For Fall semester) / December (For Spring semester)
After screening procedure by Office of International Affairs (OIA), the result and acceptance letter will be sent to students and their home institutions via email.
04 Visa Documents
Period: During June~July (For Fall semester) / December~January (For Spring semester)
All exchange students must hold D-2 visa for their study in Korea as exchange students.
Visa documents including all papers supporting your visa interview will be sent to their home institution.

05 Before coming to HGU
Period: During June~August (For Fall semester) / December~February (For Spring semester)
All other detailed information will be sent to students via email in order.
