On November 14, 2017, Handong Global University (HGU) (President Chang, Soon Heung) and University of Science and Technology (UST) (President Moon, Kil-Choo) signed a business agreement of academic exchange and cooperation. The signing ceremony was held at Handong Global University with 10 attendees from the two institutions including President Chang and President Moon.
With the signing of this agreement, the two institutions decided to put efforts together and help each other for joint researches and academic exchanges, student exchanges and graduate school mutual credit grants, academic information and data exchanges, etc.
"I anticipate that HGU students strengthen their research abilities and have career search opportunities by participating in internships at government-funded research institutes of UST," said President Chang.
"I hope that the two universities grow together as we share the exclusive infrastructure of each university and increase the real-world exchange and cooperation through this agreement," said President Moon.
