3. Qualifications
One may apply with conditions detailed below in addition to the following: being able to instruct students with a view of one’s major in a Christian perspective, a whole-person education goal of our university, and understanding and participation of Christian mind and fulfilling of such goal.

Research Performance |
Applicant must have at least 200% Korean or International Research Performance within 3 years (November 26, 2018 ~ November 26, 2021) as per the end of Application Date. However, if an applicant acquired Doctorate Degree within 6 months from the end of application date, he or she can apply with more than 100% Performance.

B. Qualifications for the non-permanent faculty
1) Applicant that fulfills criterion for Assistant Professor as listed by Law on Higher Education Article 16 and [Regulation on Qualification Criteria of
University Faculty Member] Article 2.
2) Applicant that qualifies requirement per Field of Appointment.
4. Documents Required

2) One copy of transcripts and diplomas of all degrees (Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate.)
3) One copy of confirmation of working experience (for the past 4 years only. When applicant becomes a finalist, confirmation of all work experience must be submitted).
4) One copy of license (if applicable).
** 5-8 applies only to the full-time faculty – Submission deadline: December 3rd
5) One copy of research and development performance list (title, researcher, publication date, publication paper, thesis outline).
6) One copy of doctoral thesis and one copy of thesis done within 3 years.
7) One copy of research achievements other than the thesis (for the last 3 years as of the application deadline) (if applicable).
8) Two Recommendation Forms- One Recommendation each from Major and Non-Major (Faith) recommenders
5. Application Procedure
A. Application Period: November 8th (Mon), 2021~December 5th (Sun), 2021 23:00 P.M.
B. Submission Method: E-mail or Offline submission
C. Selection Process: Qualification Screening >Basic Screening >Specialty Screening > Interview > Interview with president of Handong Global University
* Each stage is conducted only for those who have passed the previous stage, and the result of each stage is notified by e-mail and phone.
* Only those who pass the interview with the president will have interview with the chairman of the committee and after receiving approval, a final pass will be notified.
6. Others
A. The ability to embody and to teach students from a Christian perspective should be proved in the self-introduction letter.
B. A finalist’s appointment can be canceled if the application form is found to be falsified.
