Incheon Sungan Church delivered a scholarship named ‘the Daniel Scholarship for Foreign Students of HGU’ amounting to 40 million won.
The Church selected the title, named after Daniel, who recognized in his knowledge and wisdom by studying academic learnings in Babylon and has a heart full of love for his country.
In the scholarship delivering ceremony, held at Seoul Office of HGU on March 3, 2017, Pastor Kim said, “I really hope that foreign students who are here in Korea can feel the warmth of love from churches in Korea and remember the love when they go back to their countries. Also, I bless all the people who will develop their talents and have wisdom and love from God like Daniel who also has a heart full of love for his country.”
According to one foreign student from Uzbekistan, participants in this scholarship granting ceremony, “I met God after I received the Good News at a church established by one Korean missionary and God led me to this school, Handong Global University. I look forward to being the international lawyer who provides help to Christians in legal difficulties in Uzbekistan.”
President Soon-Heung Chang said, “I feel great appreciation and joy to support our foreign students who are those in need. Also, by sharing a valuable sponsorship, Sungan Church will have a starting point to receive more blessings.”
