On March 8, The Vision Scholarship Donation Ceremony was held at Hyoam Chaple, HGU. Through this, the Alumni Association of HGU will provide scholarship amounts to total enrollment fees for one year and living expenses for ten selected holders. The scholarship was granted from last year with 10,000 HGU alumni to provide scholarships for the students who faithfully study with a dream to share what they have learned.
The ceremony consisted of a greeting from President Yoo Kang Choi of the Alumni Association of HGU, introduction and granting scholarship, and appreciation remarks by President Soon-Heung Chang of HGU with distinguished guests.
The Alumni Association of HGU granted a certificate of Vision Scholarship to ten selected recipients.
President Choi of the Alumni Association of HGU said, “Handong Global University was established to nurture talented people who will change the world by helping others with their academic professionalism. With a greater vision to realize a university without tuition that seniors dreamed of, we have initiated Vision Scholarship.”
In his speech, President Chang of HGU, said “I would like to express my deepest appreciation to all the members of the Alumni Association of HGU for their collection. I sincerely hope that students of HGU remember the love of members of the Alumni Association of HGU and will grow into wise, talented people.”
