Handong Global University Hosted Entrance Ceremony for CEO Course of the Graduate School of International Management
On March 27, 2017, Handong Global University had a commencement ceremony for the 39th Entrance Ceremony of the Graduates School of International Management at Hyoam Chapel, HGU.
Starting with prayer from Professor Churlwon Hwang, congratulatory remarks by President Soon-Heung Chang, Professor Young-keun Park and President of Alumni of CEO Course were followed. In addition, each batch of alumni was joined to celebrate the new freshmen.
In the entrance ceremony, President Chang said, “The CEO Course of the Graduate School of International Management is a valuable venue to meet leaders in different fields and to be prepared. I hope that all of you will develop into the wisest leaders through learning at HGU and be genuine global CEOs to contribute to local communities and national development.”
The CEO Course of the Graduate School of International Management is prepared to provide an opportunity to understand domestic and international environmental change in the field of management. In this 39th batch, there were 28 people including government officials, representatives and high ranking officials, professionals, and self-employed. For one year, the students will join various programs including lectures and training with practical experience and theories.
President Muwhan Oh of Alumni Association of HGU said in his congratulatory message “The CEO course was opened in 1997 and nurtured 750 graduates and I am confident that this course has been developed as the best CEO course in its quality and quantity. I am glad that I am here with you. I hope that you will do your best as the hero in each of your lives.”

Mr. Kang-duck Lee, Mayor of Pohang is delivering greetings.
Students of the CEO Course of the Graduate School of International Management are contributing in the development of the school and local community by engaging actively. The freshmen and also Mayor of Pohang, Mr. Kang-duck Lee, said, “I believe that the development of Handong Global University is directly related to the development of Pohang. I will do my best to learn harder so that I can contribute to the development of Handong and Pohang.”
