On March 28, 2017, Handong Global University signed an agreement on academic exchange including human resources exchange with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
In the agreement ceremony at the Presidential office, related staff including President Soon-Heung Chang of HGU and Dean of Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Ms. Jane Turner, and Yafit Shere Deputy Dean of Business School of Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
According to the agreement, both HGU and Hebrew University of Jerusalem will promote various educational cooperation programs including human resource exchange and start-ups.
President Soon-Heung Chang said, “I look forward to promoting active cooperation including establishing start-ups with students of HGU and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem going beyond the participation of start-ups educational programs of Hebrew University of Jerusalem.”
The Dean of Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Ms. Jane Turner said, “It is very impressive that HILS are nurturing American lawyers with this globalized environment that includes a high rate of English lectures.”
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is one of the oldest schools in Israel and a prestigious university that produced four Ministers of Israel and eight Nobel Prize winners. Every year, the school is selected as one of the top 100 universities and colleges and more than 7,000 patents are registered at a Technology Transfer Center owned by the school. In particular, Albert Einstein is well known to have greatly contributed to the establishment of the university.
