‘Indirect Dimension’ of Student Satisfaction, dropout rate
An analysis of the dropout rate from 2016 University information disclosure
Dropout student rates are disproportional to student satisfaction. For universities of education and universities in Seoul the rates are low. However, for Cyber colleges and universities not in Seoul the rates are high.
Among the 10 lowest dropout rate universities, only one university is a local university. Handong Global University in Pohang, Gyeongbuk, has a lower dropout rate than Yonsei Korea University. With their no-major system during freshman year and their Team activities, Handong Global University is an ‘Education centered University'.
