On October 22th(local time), Handong University's American Supporters Association in Washington, USA delivered a development fund of $15,000 (about 16,900,000 Korean Won) to President Chang Soon-Heung. This fund was gathered by donations for the university development, throughout the entire region of the United States. It was delivered by chairman of the association, Chin Geum-seop.
 
   President Chang Soon-Heung visited Washington State, and was offered time to meet members of the American Supporters Association such as Chairman Chin Geum-seop, Assistant Administrator Lee In-gil etc. He explained recent situations, important services, and outcomes of Handong University.

   President Chang made the comment, "The enthusiastic prayers and donations made by members of the Supporters Association such as Chairman Chin Geum-seop, has encouraged Handong University to develop as a global school that produces talented Christians for the next generation." He added that, "In response for all this support, Handong University will put more effort in bringing up sincere workers of God to change the world."

    Chairman Chin said, "By helping Handong God's University in my mother country, South Korea, I feel great joy and values, for it is a school that educates honest and sincere global leaders." He added that "The American Supporters Association, which will be celebrating it's 20th anniversary next year, will strive to work hard for Handong's development, by the key efforts of alumnus in the United States."

   Meanwhile, Handong University American Supporters Association has also delivered a donation of $15,000 on April, 2017.
