DBpia, an academic thesis paper database platform, has provided one year of free dissertation service to Handong Global University (HGU) which suffered from earthquake damages in Pohang last year. In response, HGU presented an appreciation plaque to DBpia, at HGU’s Seoul office on January 26, 2018.
DBpia has continued for the last twenty years in its diverse CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities for domestic academic development. Specifically, it has completed a number of activities which were designed to help improve the research environment through its support of website homepage production and management for domestic academic societies, Korea University & College Library Association, etc. In addition, during last year’s influenza crisis, DPpia made public AI-related papers free of charge to help support domestic scholars with their research activities.
