Professor Lee Jin-Ku Team of Handong Global University Design Research Institute has won a world-renowned German iF Design Award in C.I Branding and local recycling public design project field. Along with Red Dot Design Award and IDEA, iF Design Award is considered as one of top 3 design awards around the world. A total of over 6,400 product entries from 50 countries have competed for the award this year.

Professor Lee Jin-Ku team proceeded with a B.I and public design of Seolmeori Mul-hoe Village, located at northern Pohang. The entry received outstanding evaluations from the judging committee composed of 67 experts from various nations for its excellence in developing local characteristics into contents and its storytelling applications.

Professor Lee Jin-Ku of the School of Contents Convergence Design said, “ Winning iF Design Award has provided the opportunity for Handong Global University’s design team to be recognized internationally” and also said, “I want to share this award with everyone in the research institute who have collectively undergone the challenging times.”
