Handong Global University (President Chang Soon-Heung) has held a conference with a topic of ‘Law and Development at the Royal Academy for Judicial Profession(hereinafter referred as RAJP) and National University of Management(hereinafter referred as NUM) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from February 7th (Thu) to 8th (Fri). Professors and students of Handong International Law School of Handong Global University have attended this conference.

Conference regarding effective writing of sentencing based on the Continental and Anglo-American law has been held on the 7th (Thu) in RAJP, Cambodia. It has provided opportunity for 90 prospective judicial officials to consider the execution of law and documentation with economic perspective in mind. Conference participants were provided with a feedback of legal writing regarding judicial decision of on the Continental and Anglo-American law.

A Conference with a topic about ‘Law and Dispute Resolution’ has been held at NUM on the 8th (Fri). Judge Prince Scott, attendee of the conference, gave lecture regarding oral proceedings in court. Cambodian lawyers Mao Sambutari and Kiu mille has also participated to discuss about the importance of mediating commercial disputes and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Chhorn Proloeung, head of Cambodia RAJP, regarding this matter, said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to host this educational conference alongside Handong Global University” and “I think it is an opportunity that provides students aspiring to become judicial officials to experience philosophical and ethical legal decision making.”

Handong Global University was selected as the first UNITWIN supervising University of Republic of Korea in 2007.
