Handong Global University's College Job Center (Head of the center, Professor Lee Jae-young) held its second Career Festival for two days on October 10 and 11. The event was organized and hosted by the Handong Global University College Job Center, the career development team, and the Link C+ business group (Head of the group, Professor Lee Jong-sun).
The event was organized to provide students of Handong Global University with time to explore the career path and major-related job world through self-knowledge and information on various businesses and duties.

The festival, which took place at Pyeongbong Field in Handong Global University, was run on the first day under the theme "Let's look back on ourselves in the past and find our future experiences" and the second day under the theme "Let's Find Future Possibilities and Find My Way." The theme zones and 17 booths were operated over two days, including ▲Information Zone ▲PR Zone ▲Vision Zone ▲Major Zone ▲Mentoring Zone ▲Entrepreneurship Zone and ▲Employment Zone.
The event was held to sum-up past's self-reliance(Vision Zone), current experience(Major Zone), and future possibilities(Mentoring Zone), leading to the discovery of a career. Under the circumstances, Vision Zone provided career preparation tests, time-to-time examinations and career counseling, while the Major Zone operated a promotion booth for each undergraduate's major to conduct experience activities, major counseling and mentoring. In addition, in the Mentoring Zone, senior graduates provided career and job-related information and counseling.

In addition, Jeong Ji-Yoon, CEO of OUN Corporation (OUNCORP) and Jeong Ye-Dalm, CEO of Software Factory, who succeeded in starting a business while attending Handong Global University, were invited as guest mentors for the Entrepreneurship Zone while the Employment Zone introduced ▲Field Practice Support Center ▲Online Youth Center information and ▲Foreign internship.
Handong Global University's College Job Center opened in 2016 as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's career support policy project. Located on the first floor of Handong Global University's Industrial-Academic Cooperation Foundation Hall, the center provides comprehensive services such as career and employment counseling for local youths with support for the project from Handong Global University, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Pohang City.
